Patient Health Care

After successful completion of the Nursing Course, students will be able to:

• Understand the fundamentals of nursing and patient care.
• Apply basic principles of anatomy, physiology, and human health.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs accurately.
• Provide safe and compassionate nursing care to patients of all age groups.
• Maintain hygiene, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.
• Administer medications under proper supervision and follow medical protocols.
• Perform basic nursing procedures such as wound dressing, injections, and first aid.
• Assist doctors and healthcare professionals during examinations and medical procedures.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies using Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR techniques.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Demonstrate ethical behavior, professionalism, and respect for patient confidentiality.
• Promote health education and disease prevention within the community.
• Work effectively in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and home healthcare settings.
• Develop the confidence and practical skills required for entry-level nursing and healthcare roles.
