Objective of CHRED
Council of Human Resource Education Development (CHRED) Gujarat is the first research and training centre for youth community energy conservation and economic empowerment transformation. Established in February, 2014, it was notified in accordance with the laws and rules framed by the Government for the guidance of building strong and capable personalities by developing economic capacity through research of resources for human empowerment. Under the Act. 1988, Section 60, Central Registrar, Government of India.
Education plays an important role in the Human Resource Education Development and a remedial role in balancing the socio-economic fabric of the country since citizens of India are its most valuable resource. Our billion – strong nation needs the nature and care in the form of basic Skills education to achieve a better quality of life. This warrants an all – round development of our citizens.
As per the recommendations of national Education Policy, 2020 (NEP), Ministry of Education, Government of India and subsequent to the launch of CHRED, Work Integrated Training Programme (WITP) and Skill course was started in the year 2021, To develop skilled manpower to provide quality competent services in an integrated manner at the grassroots level. This program aims to provide managerial skills for better delivery of services.
The HRED has aimed to empower the citizens on the basis of the complete education from every aspect and to make the great civilization with all its strengths with reference to Indian Govt. Rules.1888 annexure in –Dl 18295046479097M instructions along with the guidelines are provided to education development council for the particular mission. Various schemes and programme are initiated by the council of HRED. Indian Govt. has offered a helping hand to provide a global opportunity through education and Skill Development. These schemes and programmes have started resulting and benefiting as a development in different educational fields of the country. The education approach is not easy in some parts of the nation.

100% Job Oriented and Work Integrated Training Programme
The CHRED Skills Universe is designed to provide industries with the flexibility to create tailored skilling programs that meet specific market demands and technological advancements. This scheme will not only benefit industries by supplying a steady stream of skilled personnel but also offer trainees the opportunity to undergo training in an environment that mirrors current industry standards. The concept of CHRED Memorandum of Understanding (MSME - MoU) introduced in the year 2014 and policy guidelines for the same were implemented vide letter dated 31st July 2014, which were later revised on 28th February, 2019. Recently the scheme guidelines have been revised and approved by the competent authority with immediate effect from June 2024, for implementation. This initiative is aimed at bridging the gap between industry requirements and workforce skills, fostering a more competent and industry-ready workforce.
- Customized Training Programs: Enterprises can design and implement training courses with content and curriculum tailored to their specific needs, ensuring trainees acquire relevant skills.
- Application Process: Interested entities can apply to respective CHRED / NSQF providing detailed proposals including course content, duration, batch size, and infrastructure availability.
- CHRED will facilitate the implementation, including advocacy, application evaluation, and MoU signing.

Objectives of the CHRED will be

Pay special attention to disadvantaged groups like the poor, women and minorities
Each students who registered with CHRED shall be provided Comprehensive training in the trade by deployment in the premises of an Institute , College, Hospital, Company, Industry or in field operations depending on the trade selected

CHRED will MOU with various trainers and Employers, Company, Industry for the completion of training of CHRED Students
To upload the students training data on the AICTE Govt. on India web portal in the available formats thereon.

To comply with any additional norms/ conditions as notified by AICTE govt. of India form time to time.
All students who complete the training program and reach the minimum threshold in the examination that may be prescribed shall be issued a training skill assessment certificate at the completion of Course training the Examination Center shall be notified by the CHRED

To train the student, prepare a course curriculum devised under NSQF with the companies or as approved by National Skill Qualifications Committee (NSQC) Govt. of India
